Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before packing your bags.

Logistics

Bordeaux is the nearest airport. A lovely option is to fly into Paris, spend a few nights, then take the train to Bordeaux — or even all the way to Sainte-Foy-la-Grande!

Late April is spring in full bloom — expect mild temperatures, some sunshine, and maybe a refreshing rain shower or two. Think light layers, a scarf, sunglasses, and comfortable shoes for wandering cobblestone streets.

Layers, casual clothes, comfortable shoes, and a light raincoat or umbrella. Bring a tote bag or small backpack for excursions — though you might find one you love at the market!

Yes — travel insurance is required. It offers peace of mind in case of unforeseen changes, delays, or cancellations. We want everyone to arrive feeling secure and cared for.

Not at all! We'll handle all logistics and translation where needed. A few mercis and bonjours will go a long way — that's genuinely all you'll need.

The Retreat

All rooms are private — only a couple share bathrooms. Each one is unique and thoughtfully decorated. Think cozy comfort meets French charm.

We keep the retreat intentionally small, so everyone has space for meaningful connection and personal reflection. This is not a conference or a crowd.

Absolutely. We've intentionally built in space to rest, reflect, journal, explore on your own, or even sneak in a quick work check-in if you need to. The pace is designed to feel spacious.

Most activities are light to moderate — strolls through town, market visits, and gentle explorations. Nothing strenuous. France does love her cobblestones, though, so comfortable shoes are a must!

Absolutely — most guests do! You'll be warmly welcomed into a community of curious, open-hearted women from the very first group call before you even arrive.

Food & Drink

Yes! All breakfasts, curated lunches, and multi-course dinners are included, along with wine and aperitifs for those who wish to indulge. We'll also share some local culinary surprises along the way.

Not at all. We celebrate presence and pleasure, not pressure. You'll always have delicious non-alcoholic options — sparkling waters, fresh juices, local specialties — and plenty of company to toast with.

Yes, of course! Please let us know about any allergies, intolerances, or dietary preferences when you register. We want everyone to feel included and well-fed — our meals are designed with care.
